I was able to bootstrap without any trouble using the following:
make bootstrap LANGUAGES="c c++ f77"
[ too late I realised that for the 1.1 branch I *can* build all
languages, so sorry - it's not a full tryout ]
As I can't build dejagnu on NEXTSTEP, I tried a different torture
test: A run of our NWP code (almost exclusively FORTRAN), compiled
with -g -O3 -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -fforce-addr [the
latter option to make alias analysis recognise all relevant cases
for the m68k ]: No Problems.
