It doesn't look like you did *run* srcdir/config.guess.  The script is 
exactly the one that was distributed with egcs 1.1, there's no need to 
post it.  Instead, we'd like to know what the script *prints* when it
is run.

Thanks for letting us know the script got to you unmodified :-)
