That's not what I said. You completely missed the point. I *SAID* it would
be good to use sgml for these documentations and manuals.

I DO NOT WANT TO USE EMACS FULL STOP. I have written quite a few
documentations, in man format, texi format and sgml format. I like sgml as
it's very easily converted to many different formats including texi, dvi,
ps and so forth. I have been sad enough to write my C.V in sgml, as I've
mentioned.

That may be true. But I am mostly concerned with the ease of converting
information from one metasource to many formats. This is the best way to
get the word out to the people IMHO in the format that *they* like best. I
hate info files. Fullstop.

No. I don't want to use java (if that is what I am assuming you are
referring to) if I can help it.
sgmltools has undergone development work and a new release will be out
soon. I enjoy using it.
