pgcc => egcs, any volunteers?

As some people might already know, there is another gcc (now egcs) based
compiler: pgcc.

pgcc's main part consists of the pentium patches that intel released, which
never made it into gcc, other parts consist of (very!) experimental hacks by
various people, and some support for non-intel chips (like cyrix).

The current goal for pgcc is to integrate worthwhile parts of it into egcs.
Unfortunately, up to now this was done for a few parts only, and the people
that did it generally don't have much time to do this. Even I have a hard
time keeping pgcc more-or-less up-to-date and working.

So, if you want to became an egcs hacker, how about working on pgcc and see
which parts of it can be integrated into egcs and getting these patches into
shape so that they can be included. This might be a nice opportunity to
learn about the egcs backend, as pgcc touches almost all parts of it.

If you're interested, feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
