I'm happy with those goals!!
Perhaps we can start collecting requirements and design goals for a
larger, second tier of tests that involve packages like LAPACK,
doing some performance measurements, and so on. Probably some people
are doing this sort of thing already on their own; it'd be nice
to share the wealth and reduce the needs of individuals to do all
the hard work on their own.
