Hi,
I write this E-Mail because the file FINALINSTALL told me to do so.
I just build and installed egcs-1.0.3a, gas-970915, dejagnu-980528 on my PPro
200 running DLD 5.3 Linux.
configure.guess:
i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1
It all seems to work fine, g++ Tests even reported 3 unexpexted Successes !
unexpected Failures:
FAIL: g77.f-torture/execute/dnrm2.f execution, -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -finline-functions -funroll-loops
FAIL: g77.f-torture/execute/dnrm2.f execution, -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -finline-functions -funroll-all-loops
(The two g77 failures donīt bother me, I,m not using Fortran )
FAIL: 921210-1.c
unexpected Success:
XPASS: g++.jason/destruct3.C - (test for bogus messages, line 38)
XPASS: g++.mike/dyncast1.C Execution test
XPASS: g++.mike/dyncast2.C Execution test
Ciao Franco <franco.bez@augsburg.baynet.de>
PS: this egcs seems to be a real progress for me. Iīm mostly using C++
VC++ 5.0 on WinNT at work. and ītill today g++-2.7.2.1 at home.
I tried a few files that compiled on VC++ but didnīt on g++ and egcs
seems to have no Problems with them.
