the output of my config.guess is

	i586-pc-linux-gnulibc1

Let's see if it will fix my problems with C++ templates.

I am working on a SUSE Linux 5.0 - AMD 200MHZ PR

I upgraded my gcc from 2.7.x to 2.8.1 first, before I decided to
try with egcs.
Let's see...
