Oh, I didn't realize you were using egcs 1.0.3. `g77 -v' acts
more like g77 0.5.2[0123] etc. in egcs now, which should be how
it works when 1.1 is released. The other drivers (g++ etc.)
might or might not be changed to be more like g77.
