Hi all, I compiled and installed egcs-1.0.3a on i686-pc-linux-gnu.
Configured as:
/usr/src/egcs/objdir>../egcs-1.0.3a/configure --prefix=/usr/local/egcs --enable-shared --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld
Running the tests gave me lots of "unexpected failures", I will send a
seperate report of that later after I saw my subscription to this list
succeed (I intend to get more involved).
I hope to be at least valuable in stress testing the C++ compiler, by
using it for my C++ project `libr'.
Being curious how fast I'd be able to recompile egcs, anticipating on
making small changes to it in a file, I did re-run `make bootstrap'
directly after it finished compiling the first time. It took again
30 minutes :/. That makes it kinda hard to make "quick changes". Is
there an easy way to remake the compiler without it recompiling *everything*?
