this is probably a crass newbie question but anyway...
we're trying to compile a very large source tree with
huge static array allocations under egcs-g77-2.90.21
(dec pc164 system w. 256 Mbyte memory running linux-axp
kernel 2.0.30, redhat 4.2). we're getting thousands of
"relocation truncated to fit" messages during link phase.
are we missing some crucial compiler switch???
