I doubt it. It just makes cmov more likely to be used, exposing more
of the flaws we've repeatedly pointed out in your ppro cmov patches.
It does bootstrap just fine on Alpha. I will check sparcv9 this evening.
I'll be happy to fix any problems if you can show me an incorrect
transformation in any jump pass. But I really suspect things go wrong
for you in reload.
