Installed egcs-1.0.3a on an alphaPC164LX, redhat5.0,
alphaev56-unknown-linux-gnu
didn't run the tests, but there were no build errors.
Is there any simple way to configure *without* -g, and is there any reason
not to make that the default? builds with -g use 150 megs of space...
P.S. The whole build took 30 minutes on this machine.
