I wish to join the egcs effort, in particular with respect to re-
targetting g++ to the 8051 family of cpus.
I run Windows 95 on the machine that I have available for this effort,
so I want to use the version of g++ running that Cygnus have ported for
Win32 with their Cygwin Unix toolset.
I have found the archives for the egcs project, but I do not know how to
start ! In particular I need to know how to apply the egcs
patches/updates to the version (b18) of the cygwin compiler to allow it
to be used for cross-compilation, and then how to re-target the compiler
in general.
I am very grateful for any help you can give me,
Thanks,
MIke
