Synopsis: installation failure on Solaris7
State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: bangerth
State-Changed-When: Fri Dec 20 21:24:45 2002
State-Changed-Why:
When you specify the 64bit/sparcv9 linkers as default linkers,
my understanding is that you have to have a bootstrap
compiler that supports creating 64bit executables. What was
the bootstrap compiler in this case?
The installation instructions might have more material
on these 32/64 bit topics.
Also, is it possible to bootstrap gcc3.2.1?
Thanks
Wolfgang
