ok, even though it's just the first stage compilation that is done
using gcc-2.96 and that there are no comparison problems detected
between stages two and three?
if som i'll build a gcc-3.2.1 cvs branch with just the c language,
install it, and use that as bootstrap stage one compiler. is that what
you'd suggest?
