Various patches, such as the bug box ones discussed in this
PR, were applied to the 3.1 branch and still haven't been
applied to the mainline, causing a mainline regression
relative to 3.1 and 3.2. I've retitled this PR to reflect
that general issue. The Ada maintainers should carefully
check the patches applied to the 3.1 or 3.2 branch and
carry forward to the mainline all that remain relevant.
