Re: bootstrap/4710: Cannot Build 3.0.2 on Linux 2.4.5 using 2.95.2

Synopsis: Cannot Build 3.0.2 on Linux 2.4.5 using 2.95.2

State-Changed-When: Sat Nov 10 11:33:29 2001
State-Changed-Why:
Since you are not a C programmer, I do not recommend that
you compiler major system components like glibc and gcc.
You should try to get these packages precompiled from
    your Linux distributor, ie. Corel.

There is nothing in your bug report to indicate a problem
with gcc. We have successful reports of bootstrapping
gcc 3.0.2 with gcc 2.95.2, so it looks like your system
    is misconfigured.

Consult your Linux distributor for prepackaged binaries
    and support.
