RedHat 7.1 / Kernel 2.4.7 / 1024 MB Ram / 2 800 PIII XEON Processors
>Description:
Bulding the gcc 3 works find [./configure and make] until make install.
make install mentions, that the file mkinstalldirs ist missing. The file isn't really missing, it is just one directory higher, than make install is searching [i.e. make install searches in ./.., but mkinstalldirs is lying in ./../..]
>How-To-Repeat:
./configure, make, make install
>Fix:
copy the mkinstalldirs in the directory where make install is searching [I dont't know how to name the directory, in my case it is i686-pc-linux-gnu]
