I'm committing the patch from https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2015-10/msg01546.html with a tiny whitespace change (just removing some spaces at the end of a line, which Git complained about). Tested powerpc64le-linux, committed to trunk. Changelog attached.
