OK, can you explain be abit the lifetime of clones you create?  So if I undertand it
right, for every foo(ptr) you also create foo.chkp(ptr,bounds) clone that is produced
during early optimization.

Then you transfer all direct calls in the code compiled with bounds checking into foo.chkp
and eventually depending if you have any need for both foo and foo.chkp, you may turn
foo into a thunk calling foo.chkp with empty bound information.
If either of the variants disappears, you keep either the original funcion or the clone
alone?
