Instead of guessing and complaining about the GCC SC, have you two
thought of actually looking at the announcement?

ASAN refers to both the GCC bits and libsanitizer.
The appointed maintainers should have added their names to the GCC
MAINTAINERS file.
And, H.J, you should not try to merge things that you do not understand.
