In my gcc/Makefile, I see:


CFLAGS = -g CXXFLAGS = -g -O2

Odd. I see:


CFLAGS = -g
CXXFLAGS = -g

in stage1-gcc/

In gcc/ I see both set to -g -O2, of course. I would've noticed -g -O2 in the stage1 build because I am constantly debugging that binary.
