[Patch, libfortran] Remove free_mem


Hi,

the attached janitorial patch removes the function free_mem(), which
is just a trivial wrapper around free(), and replaces calls to it with
calls to free().  As the patch is obvious, I'll commit it tomorrow
unless somebody objects.
