  BTW, for any maintainer with approve-power who is monitoring this thread, I
don't think there's any need for this minor side issue to delay giving Kai
approval or his checking in the patch; it's a minor distinction how we decide
to describe the resulting status of -mcygwin, and we can always clarify the
docs after the fact if we need to.
