Re: [PATCH 4.5 0/N]: Integrate GCC with the complex math library MPC

From: "Mark Mitchell" <mark@codesourcery.com>

I completely agree. The sequence of events should be that we convince
ourselves that MPC is ready for prime time on all of the major host
platforms, and then that we check in support for it, along with the
requirement that MPC be available to build GCC. I don't think we should
check in this code until we are ready to require MPC.

Of course, we might decide that the benefits of MPC are outweighed by
disadvantages if it doesn't work on important host platforms. But,
hopefully we don't have to make that decision.

I've asked the MPC developers to see if we can firm up the supported platforms list for MPC. They have helpfully adopted the GCC primary/secondary platform list and put up a webpage here:
http://www.loria.fr:80/~zimmerma/free/mpc.html

Using the GCC compile farm, they have seeded the list with some initial results. However not all GCC platforms are available in the GCC compile farm. So if anyone within the sound of my voice (email) has access to the missing boxes, please help update the results.

       Thanks,
