It's great that you have the patch completed. I will look into it, but
a first question: it appears you don't have a copyright assignment, is
that in progress or not? If not, you need to start it now, by
answering the questions below and emailing that to
fsf-records@gnu.org. They will send you by snail mail the copyright
assignment form, which you will complete, sign and send back. It takes
some time, but that doesn't prevent us from discussing your patch
meanwhile.
