Fix some struct.exp failures that many folk are seeing. As far as
I know, this patch has not introduced new failures on targets that
are affected by other struct-reorg problems and, although the bug is
probably more host-dependent rather than target-dependent, it fixes
the last gcc testsuite failures on mips64-linux-gnu.
