I object to locks on the trunk in general, you want a lock, use svn cp
trunk lock-1, and presto, you have a lock.


The lock was just to be certain that any failure that arises after
committing the patch is due to the patch and not something else. Also
the Release Manager expressed his intention of locking trunk from time
to time to fix regressions. Not that it matters anymore. The patch is
already committed and I consider this bug fixed for all practical
purposes.
