I think that the preferred approach is to write down the final changes in the
regular ChangeLog. Yes, this can prove quite boring but IIRC Diego did it
for the big Tree-SSA merge.

Could you please wait a little, until after the dust has settled on the
dataflow merge? Several platforms seem to be in not very good a shape.
