I think this patch should also be applied to the 4.2 branch because
the documentation says it will be removed in 4.2. Alternatively, the
documentation should be updated in the 4.2 branch to refer to the
removal in 4.3.
Also, can you please submit a small patch for gcc-4.3/changes.html or
gcc-4.2/changes.html
