It was r120218 that did it; or rather, it was the part that fixed
PR20896. I have successfully built tonto-2.3.1, with PR20896
'unfixed'. If I do not see a quick work around, I will simply commit
this reverted version later this afternoon.
I committed the reverted version as r120342 a few minutes ago. It
regtests on ia64/FC5 and tonto-4.3.1 compiles and tests fine.
The funny thing is that the ambiguity in PR20896 is being detected and
then ignored. I cannot see yet where this 'disremembering' is
happening. Watch this space.
