Well, I wasn't able to reproduce this using the "peak flags" (-O2
-ffast-math -O2 -march=nocona -mtune=generic) on a natively-built
x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu. I see no change in performance between a
2006-08-30 build and a 2006-09-03 build. Any ideas?
