I actually had a logic on when to use a bullet and when to use ellipses, 
but I agree that this logic ranges somewhere been unintuitive and illogical.
Consistency is much better, indeed.

Agreed.  I cannot claim any logic on that one. :-/

The following patch addresses all of these issues, and also gets rid
of one of the subitems by transforming it into a regular one.
