Yes, it's a bug that DWARF takes longer to output than stabs. They're probably regression fixes too, since the compiler usually gets slower between releases.

Bootstrapped & tested on powerpc-darwin8.

should at least do a bootstrap and regtest on an additional non- darwin target.

Um, sure. Do you have a machine I could do that on?
