Fine, then the last release of 3.4.x is comming so, it might make it into it
but I doubt it, post the backport to gcc-patches@gcc.gnu.org and maybe the
release manager for 3.4 will approve it.

Could you please apply the attached patch to gcc-3.4.6.


This is a backport for a bug fixed by:
  http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2004-03/msg02011.html
The ChangeLog entry should therefore probably be something like

	* gcc.c (used_arg): Check whether an option has been removed.
	Backport of patch from Richard Sandiford  <rsandifo@redhat.com>
