Sure understood.  If you need help testing patches, I can help run
bootstraps/testsuites overnight on x86_64 and i686.

Also, if you can prioritize among the testsuite backport patches to
lift the ones that I need higher in your queue, that will help clear
out my backport logjam.  I'm currently blocked on
dg-require-effective-target and selector expressions for lp64/ilp32
and fpic in GCC 3.4.  Other backports don't block my current set.
