Would be nice to have a general well established policy that everyone can follow, baring other reasons for not, and then branch owners can render their verdicts. For the old apple merge tags, I'm inclined to just rm them as well.


I'm going to sit on it a week and see what type of consensus develops and go with the flow, as we don't have a reason to be very different.

For old branches that are dead and of no use (because they are merged into newer branches), I'm include to rm them, and for old branches that have ideas, but, may never see the light of day, be conservative and leave them alone.

Again, I'd like consensus on the general policy, that most people will follow, and I'm inclined to want to just follow it.
