Yes, I know.  The question Geoff was answering is whether the FSF tree
should have this attribute, though.

It is not STABS vs DWARF.

As I mentioned in separate email, I am still at loss how performance tools will automatically present sample info the way user expects (rightfully, IMO) to see.
