Given that this patch looks "obvious" and fixes a bootstrap failure,
OK for mainline.
It looks like the only other platform that might encounter problems
is rs6000*-*-* where the first asterisk is non-empty. Perhaps David
could comment whether this is a latent problem, or the clause is
really equivalent to rs6000-*-*.
