:-) I suspect it is a super set, and trivially picks up new testsuite results, like Objective-C++, when it goes in.

Once, a long time ago, a dejagnu existed that failed immediately on startup, producing no .log or .sum files at all, which the remaining logic treated as if every test in the GCC testsuite had been deleted, and therefore considered the result to be a 'pass'. The explicit list is there to catch that if it ever happens again.
