It's been two weeks, overdue time for a ping.
* doc/extend.texi (Extended Asm): Add blurb about using Explicit
Reg Vars to enforce register allocation with general constraints.
(Explicit Reg Vars): Clarify relation to asm statements.
(Local Reg Vars): Similar.

(I'd like to treat this documentation update separately to
resolution of the issue of call-clobbered asm-declared
registers, to which only Gunther Nikl has replied BTW.)
