.md macro patch (1/3)

This patch is the same as the one in the RFC about .md macros:

    http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2004-08/msg00255.html

It promotes the read-rtl.c string obstack to file scope so that it's
easier to add new users. It also renames the obstack from rtl_obstack
to string_obstack for clarity. (I imagine that at one time rtl_obstack
really did contain rtl, but not anymore.)

I'm really just splitting this patch off in the hope that the main read-rtl.c
changes will then be easier to read. I've done a sanity-checking build with
this patch alone applied, but only done a full bootstrap & regression test
with the combined patch.

The combined patch was bootstrapped & regression tested on i686-pc-linux-gnu
and mips-sgi-irix6.5, no regressions. OK to install?

Richard

	* read-rtl.c (string_obstack): New file-scope variable.
	(read_string, read_quoted_string, read_braced_string)
	(read_escape): Remove obstack parameter and use string_obstack instead.
	(read_rtx): Remove function-local rtl_obstack and initialize
	string_obstack instead. Update call to read_string.
