It sounds to me like you (Zack) are convinced that -iquote is a useful
thing and good to have. My original concern was that it wasn't useful.
I trust your judgement,and Apple also thinks its useful, and,
apparently, so does Metrowerks. So, if the -iquote part of Mike's patch
is looking good technically, maybe we should put it in?
I also agree with you that -I- doesn't sound very useful. I think it's
a good idea to see if we can kill it off, but I can see where Mike is
coming from in terms of being reluctant to kill off a feature that
people might be using. It seems like we can separate the two issues,
though; maybe we could sent out the can-we-kill-this message for -I-
after checking in the -iquote bits? Mike's helped out already by
producing the -I- -killing patch, so it will be easy to do if we
convince ourselves that users will let us.
