Ziem Laski is the author of changes to support Motorola Altivec Syntax.
He is currently on
vacation. I did this merge on his behalf. I believe the changes are to
support the
syntax as document in altiVec PIM by Motorola. He should be back by
4/16. There should
be probably additional documentation patches that he will provide then.
- Thanks, Fariborz

In

you added code to the apple-ppc-branch to deal with "New Motorola
Altivec syntax" and in
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-cvs/2004-04/msg00272.html
you changed some tests to pass with the "new gcc3.5 Motorola syntax".
I can't seem to find any information about this in the news groups,
and you don't seem to have added any documentation.
Can you point me in the right direction to find out more about this?
Thanks.
