Hello again,
For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to work with the GMP team
to get longlong.h fixed so that all non-PPC vxWorks builds of both GMP
and GCC compile properly. I've bent over backwards to try to work with
them to get something that's acceptable to both GMP and GCC. I really
have tried to be as accomidating as possible.
My last post to gcc-patches is here:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2004-03/msg00806.html
You can find my posts to gmp-bugs here:
http://www.swox.com/list-archives/gmp-bugs/2004-March/thread.html
I find it hard to accept that we can't somehow work together to get
vxWorks builds fixed for both GMP and GCC. It may have something to do
with the fact that there seems to be very few people home over at
gmp-bugs. Their 4.1.2 release is 2 years old, and it seems they can't
be bothered to roll up their 20 or so critical patches into a 4.1.3 release.
Guidance is appreciated. Will you accept my patch to longlong.h into
GCC to fix the vxWorks builds for GCC 3.4? Or will somebody with some
more influence get the ball rolling again?
Thanks,
Mark F. Haigh
