Well, it's "just" a matter of calling the new tool 'autoconf' and having
it compatible with the old one. Wait...

At the very least, the implementation of autoconf should be completely redone
in a real language, and with real error/warning messages. Not speaking
about backward compatibility which makes all of this so much more fun.
