Could you either:


- Split the non-ARM-specific parts out of this patch; or
- Bootstrap this on three different platforms, as called for by the
 rules for merging branches?  (One of those platforms should be Alpha,
 since you changed it).

I would prefer that you do the first, since I think it's easier for
you and better for everyone else...

OK, merge the changes other than the current_function_is_thunk bits.

Let me know when that's done, and we'll take another look at the current_function_is_thunk changes. I don't think they are very nearly obviously correct, but I will take a look at them in isolation, if you will send me those bits as a separate patch.
