Sure, I was not asking you to backport it immediately to gcc-3_3-branch.
I have some regressions there -- of which this one -- and I'm trying
to figure out where I could plave my hopes.  I need to send a status
report in less than 24 hours and I just wanted to know whether this
patch might help.
