There is no guarantee that you can indeed bootstrap an 'old'/previous
version of GNAT if you are using a more recent version as the bootstrap
compiler.
Starting such attempt is opening a whole can of worm I suspect.
Anyway, I don't really have any strong feeling nor interest in the 3.3
branch, so I'll let the 3.3 release manager decide whether these
changes are suitable or not (in other words, I have no objection, but
will also not give my OK on such changes).
