How are the SC (and FSF lawyers if necessary) getting on with resolving
these issues?  Nathanael's analysis
<http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2003-06/msg01286.html> was marked for the
attention of the SC but I don't recall a subsequent pronouncement or
detailed instructions on what assignments are needed in what cases.
